Yarn Tail: Kat the Leopardess by Catwoman69y2k Yarn Tail: Kat the Leopardess by Catwoman69y2k
For my leopardess fursona, Kat the Leopardess. I got this done just in time for my performance at Califur. Its goint to be a backup in case an upcoming experiment does not work. Finally, a yarn tail for my main fursona.

Honestly, for yarn tails, this is the best that can be done to simulate a leopard print. I suppose at a distance no one will really notice. Im sure you could use it as a jaguar tail as well.

you know that you can brush the yarn with a pet-brush and then take a Hair-straightener..? Would look alot better if you did.

I agree but, at the time< I feared using the straightener I have at home. That is because it uses heat and I figured even the low heat setting would melt the yarn.

if you use 100% acrylic, it doesnt melt. Even at higher temp.

The yarn I use is 98% acrylic, so the 2% polyester was my concern regarding melting it. Can you recommend a 100% acrylic yarn brand? The ones I first tried did not look good IMHO. I had already seen other people creating brushable yarn tails like mine but with the cheap stuff. That definitely looked way too ratty.

Thanks :D Given how you talk about your yarn tails I would have been a little disappointed if I couldn't get a good look ^.^
